Alex Cortex, though still in his late twenties, is one of the german producers who have made their mark already in the mid-nineties, releasing some of the most brilliant techno on various labels, for example Kanzleramt, Klang Elektronik, Baby Ford s PAL SL, Out To Lunch, Source Records, and Ann Aimee. His productions range from driving techno to soulful ambient-electronica, showing a musicality only few are capable of. In the last years he had a production collaboration with acclaimed artist Lopazz with releases on labels like Get Physical, Output, and Lasergun. Alex has been DJing and playing live-gigs since 1996 in many places, touring in Germany, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, Spain, UK, and Mexico.
